The Difference Between the Standard Ultherapy and Enhanced Ultherapy?

If you are dealing with sagging skin on your face and neck, you may be interested in skin tightening treatments. If you are not ready for a surgical procedure, Ultherapy may be a good option for you. It is one of the best non-surgical treatments for lax or loose skin. As you do research on this treatment, you are likely going to come across standard Ultherapy and enhanced Ultherapy. This may cause you to wonder what the difference is between the two.

What is the Difference?

When you visit our office for any treatment, you can feel confident knowing that we will optimize the ultherapy treatments that we have in order to take full advantage of the technology that is available.

Ultheraphy is looked at as a state-of-the-art skin tightening treatment. The treatment is designed to reach the layers of collagen in the skin using ultrasound energy. It stimulates the collagen in order to repair the skin and to cause more collagen to grow. The difference between the two treatments basically lies in how deep the treatment goes and how many pulses are used during the treatment.

There are three separate layers of skin that can be targeted in order to renew and tighten the collagen. Standard Ultherapy usually focuses on only two layers. Enhanced Ultherapy focuses on three layers. With enhanced treatments, more pulses of ultrasound energy are safely applied to the skin in order to get the most dramatic results.

Is This Treatment Right for You?

No matter if you decide to go with standard ultherapy or enhanced ultherapy treatments, you may be able to enjoy a younger appearance. You are going to say goodbye to some of the loose skin that you have on your face and some of your wrinkles. You are going to be able to enjoy all of these benefits without going through surgery.

Since standard ultherapy and enhanced ultherapy are completely non-invasive treatments, most individuals qualify and there is no downtime. There is no specific age that a person has to be in order to benefit from it. We recommend this treatment for individuals who would like to prevent wrinkles and loose skin.
